   I have never been to the beach in winter while I was living in Europe - I guess I just don’t like being out in the cold.

   We’ve had several unusual cold snaps here, but on this one day (last week) it was in the low 70’s so I had to wear a long sleeve shirt but could still wear sandals (however, the water was a little chilly.)

   Our beaches (at Lake Tahoe) are covered with snow right now. For a real beach, I like going to Pt. Reyes north of San Francisco. It’s lovely in winter.

   LOL…what is a “real” beach? I know nothing of Lake Tahoe (unfortunately…but my nephew is getting married there later this year)

   I’d love to see snow covered beaches, that would be cool…but on the other hand, I kind of like my unseasonably, gusty-cold beach here. Although admittedly, it’s been only two weeks out of the whole winter that it’s been like that…uh, I’m thinking lucky us.

   LOL…I think the whole point of Wordless Wednesday is that we explore and discover different blogs all over the world. However, some people think the point is their blogs are discovered. Go figure.

    Raima, welcome to Wordless Wednesday! Actually I asked if the Chaos Theory is the same as the Butterfly Theory? LOL. I know very little about science but I had a…uh…well, someone close to me who was very into physics and science, so I am kind of interested in such things. I will visit you often to see what you have to offer my science deprived brain.

    I love beaches! I live near them but sad to say, I am not there often enough :-(. I should, you know, visit them more often. It’s just so calming and beautiful. I think it’s simply a wonderful feeling.

    What time of day was this taken? I really love the look of the beach and the overhead clouds, but part of me wishes the person was closer to the camera. I’d love to see the expression…but then again, perhaps it’s best left in mystery:)

    Grottogirl, it was between 1 and 3 in the afternoon. Mr. J didn’t like that I looked at the camera, but it was better than the other three poses.
